Who Can Join & When Is It?

All grades are welcome to attend every other Thursday morning in the gym from 8 AM to 8:40 AM.

What Should I Bring?

The students should bring their favorite writing utensils and paper, and their friends! A journal will be provided.

What Will We Be Doing?

Students may choose to free write something they are already working on, or can work on themes of the month provided for them.

The focus will be on writing and the steps involved in producing a book/ piece of written work (example- graphics for a graphic novel).

There will also be things coordinated with the school and writing club.  These include things like get well and birthday cards for students, staff, and family members; positive notes of encouragement left in a jar for those who want one to take at free will; and special projects teachers ask us to become involved with.
